Introduction
In past, human desires and necessities were very limited. The basic needs were food, clothes and shelter. With the passage of time, these desires and basic necessities began to increase. In the present age, human desires are countless. Every person desires for the best. For example, if one desired to get a bicycle and he got one, he would start thinking of having a motorbike and then a luxury car. To fulfill these unlimited desires, man has limited resources. Its guides us how to choose necessities when the resources are limited.
The nature meets our needs through plants and minerals. We cannot use all natural products in their natural form. We have to process or refine them before use; for example, we have to process cotton to make it into doth, sugarcane to make sugar, tomato to make sauce, or rubber to make tyres. The work of processing is done in industries, where different types of machines are used.
